The
Political Rating Agency
The
Political Rating Agency is a project of ARMP and a private
political consultancy company.
Its purpose is to acquaint the specialized market, but
also the general public in Romania with a type of professional
studies and solutions for evaluating the political life
in Romania.
We
believe that the specialized market in this field in Romania
is currently under-developed, both in what concerns the
offer for research and consultancy products, and also
in regard to its capacity to comprehend the new solutions,
mainly actors of the social and political life.
Consequently, the interaction between the new models of
understanding the political market or, more generally,
the offer of consultancy services, on the one hand, and
the clients on the other hand, is also defective and conceptually
limited.
Due
to the fact that these solutions contain a specific conception
of Political Marketing, they will be introduced to the
public gradually and, on a case basis, will target a reduced
or a wider audience.
The
first solutions that the Agency plans to put forward will
be based on measurements of the message transmitted through
media channels, in diverse instances. They will consist
of daily and weekly reports following either purposely
built indicators for observing the political life, or
certain actors in their structural evolution in the political
life.
A
second stage of the project will advance solutions that
connect the measurement of the media-transmitted message
to the public opinion as measured in opinion and behaviour
surveys, in order to assess the influence that the media
exerts on the electorate.
Complementary
to this undertaking, the agency intends to introduce the
means of studying, through purposely built indicators,
the effects of the political message in the mass-media
on some indicators regarding the evolution of the stock
market
